北理工計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院邀請Beichuan Zhang副教授作學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告

應(yīng)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院教師嵩天邀請，美國亞利桑那大學(xué)的Beichuan Zhang副教授于7月4日訪問北京理工大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院，并作題為“Named Data Networking以數(shù)據(jù)為中心的未來互聯(lián)網(wǎng)”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。
學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告由嵩天主持，計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院和信息與電子學(xué)院相關(guān)研究方向的教師和研究生參加了此次學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。
Beichuan Zhang副教授介紹了未來互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的信息化發(fā)展趨勢，分析了以數(shù)據(jù)為中心的未來互聯(lián)網(wǎng)架構(gòu)研究的重要意義與應(yīng)用前景，并具體介紹了NDN研究團(tuán)隊(duì)目前主要研究方向，給出了以數(shù)據(jù)為中心的組網(wǎng)關(guān)鍵問題和解決方法。
報(bào)告結(jié)束后，Beichuan Zhang副教授與參會(huì)的多名教師和學(xué)生就相關(guān)學(xué)術(shù)問題進(jìn)行了深入交流與探討。該次報(bào)告與交流拓寬了研究生的視野，為后續(xù)在未來網(wǎng)絡(luò)架構(gòu)領(lǐng)域的進(jìn)一步合作奠定了良好基礎(chǔ)。
【報(bào)告人簡介】
Dr. Beichuan Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, the University of Arizona, USA. He has been working on information-centric networking, green networking, internet routing, and content distribution. Dr. Zhang was a recipient of the first Applied Networking Research Prize in 2011 awarded by the Internet Society and the Internet Research Task Forces for his research into "green traffic engineering". His work also received the best paper awards at the International Symposium on Quality of Service (2014) and the International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (2005). Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. from UCLA (2003) and B.S. from Peking University (1995).
